2010 FSEA National Convention Economic indicators suggest that the economy is slowly recovering. So what does that mean for the print finishing industry? It's time to rethink strategies and open up to new trends, markets, and ways of doing business! Simply surviving is no longer an option. It's time to re-evaluate, investigate, and implement a smart business plan to move the business forward. And that is the exact focus of the 2010 FSEA National Convention, April 9-10 at the Loews Hotel in New Orleans. Attendees will gain practical ideas and valuable industry knowledge from veterans in the field who will share what is working in today's marketplace – and what needs to change! From practical ideas that can be implemented quickly and easily to strategic plans for short- and long-term growth, programming is being developed that will help print finishers move forward and re-position in the marketplace. A sampling of the topics slated for the 2010 convention include the following: • Efficient Work Flow on the Shop Floor Further value and cost-savings will be realized by the convention's new, concise format, which will begin on Friday, April 9th with a welcome reception, continue on Saturday, April 10th with a full day of sessions, and culminate with the Gold Leaf Awards Banquet and presentation of the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award that evening. The traditional FSEA golf tournament and alternate event will take place on Friday afternoon for those who wish to participate and come in a bit earlier. Of special note, the 2010 convention has been scheduled during New Orleans' famed French Quarter Fest, a weekend festival along the Riverfront alive with all types of music, regional fare, and a whole lot of fun!
